“Whether a child at the beginning of their exploration with art and Divinity, a novice artist, an accomplished Iconographer, an art teacher, or art therapist, each one of us has the ability to open ourselves to the world of art, Iconography, technique, theology, spirituality, and quiet contemplation. The Guide to Byzantine Iconology series provides a rare training platform, guiding us to the Divine connection within the Icon, as well as our unique, artistic expression and personally colored Icon—a display of our unique, creative works. Chady Elias’ Coloring Book is an incredible addition to our homes, learning centers, therapeutic programs, and art studios!”

“This book is a superb tool for theological education and spiritual training in the meaning of the Icon. With each Icon, clergy and educators are able to build upon the gospel messages and bring them into daily tradition through the use of artistic practice. I highly recommend Iconography – The Guide to Byzantine Iconology for Churches, Sunday schools, all religious education initiatives, and for personal home use. Through the colors, the meaning, and the theme of the Icon, we can be inspired to look inside and free ourselves, in order to transcend and connect with the Divine.”
